CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

Chobe National Park is right on the border with Zambia and Zimbabwe making it an easily accessible park for those traveling to Victoria Falls.

Chobe is certainly the best place in Africa to see elephants, particularly in the water. Individual herds sometimes number in the hundreds and there are an estimated 120,000 elephants in the park. There are also large herds of buffalo and other antelopes. In fact the animals can be seen outside the park boundaries, roaming around Kasane, undisturbed by traffic or people.

The park is also great for spotting lions and leopards, while the river has an unbelievable abundance of hippos and crocodiles and an almost inconceivable number of birds, including a number of particularly rare species that are highly sought after by wildlife photographers.

INCREDIBLE PHOTOGRAPHY

Without a doubt one of the best places to photograph Elephants & some water bird species like the African fish eagle
